about

This is the first of Los Doggies' Love Songs to a Virtual Boss (see "Two Abobos"), a sexed-up shuffle written in 2003 for the eponymous "Sodapopinski" from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Sung in classic synth-drum-backed a cappella barber shop (or should we say lollipop) style, "Sodapopinski" begins with a swing, and as the lyrics turn more risqué, a waltz ensues. First coinage of the Soviet slang neologism "prepubinski" is found herein.
